Green and environmentally friendly and recyclable, plastics can be reduced by 30%. With this new film, product packaging is like changing from "cotton clothes" to "T-shirts." On July 7, the Beijing Daily client reporter learned from the Sinopec News Office that the biaxially oriented polyethylene (BOPE) special materials and film products independently developed by the affiliated Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry have reached a high level of performance indicators, filling Domestic blanks. This film can be widely used in rice vacuum packaging, quick-frozen food packaging, transparent soft beverage packaging and other fields. Compared with traditional polyethylene film, it can reduce the material usage by 30%, which is economical and environmentally friendly.

新型薄膜材料

BOPE薄膜是通过特殊的双向拉伸工艺，将具有特殊分子结构设计的聚乙烯树脂制成高性能的薄膜产品。与传统聚乙烯薄膜相比，这种薄膜不仅具有更好的韧性、挺度、抗穿刺性能和耐低温冲击性能，还具有更佳的透明度、印刷性能和更高的生产效率。用这种薄膜做包装，可有效降低塑料包装的厚度，减少约30%的包装材料使用量。有人形象地比喻，原本穿“棉服”的产品，如今只要穿“T恤”就可轻装上阵了。

中国石化重大项目“功能性高分子膜材料关键技术攻关”项目长、北京化工研究院院长吴长江介绍，此次推向市场的国产BOPE专用料及薄膜产品，是多年潜心研发取得的成果，成功打破了国外垄断，为中国石化打造“一基两翼三新”发展格局和推进“百日攻坚创效”行动做出积极贡献。

BOPE产品在大米真空包装、速冻食品包装、饮料透明软包装等领域都有广阔的应用前景。仅以2019年中国高端大米为例，当年产销量约100万吨，如果全部采用国产BOPE产品代替传统大米包装用料，可节约包装成本约6000万元，减少塑料消费量约5500吨。新包装还可降低破包率，更好保持大米的品质。
